With double width mobile scaffold hire you will get large open spaces as they give extra working platform space. Since the base of the alloy tower is much wider, they are more stable with higher working platforms.

Single width aluminium scaffold hire is a great for narrow and hard access places. With only 710mm width, they can if in most places. Stability wont be an issue on the higher working platforms as we provide outriggers to increase the base width.

Can I assemble the mobile scaffold tower myself?

For some indoor use where the tower height is less than 4m you can assemble indoor scaffold. If the working platform height of your mobile aluminium scaffold tower is less than 4m, you are not required to hold a current HRW Licence (Scaffold Ticket). For any scaffolds tower (including portable scaffolding) with working platform height greater than 4m you will require a HRW license to safely erect and comply with Safework NSW requirements.

Safework NSW certifies that double width mobile scaffolds must maintain a height to minimum base width ratio of 3:1 whilst single width towers should not exceed 2:1 height to minimum base width ratio
